13-Jan-2009 My name is Omid Partopour and I’m twenty years old, I first met with MYC Senior Education Consultant, Mahdis Mesgara around three years ago back in Tehran. I was shown a list of opportunities at universities in various cities. I decided to take the chance and experience a whole new life in Australia, with the full support of my parents. Since I always loved engineering I chose to study civil engineering at Griffith University in Queensland. It’s been almost three years since I made the choice which certainly was the right one. Right now, I am in my second year of university and I’ve really enjoyed the program and found it very interesting and challenging, I am also working part time, which covers most of my expenses.
