Griffith University
Established in Queensland in 1971, Griffith University has a reputable name for responding creatively to local and global change by embracing diversity and nurturing innovation. There is more to Griffith University to just learning, there are a numerous helpful services, facilities, clubs, restaurants and activities that make Griffith a easy and fun place to attend, with four campuses and over 37,000 students, 7,000 being international students.
The University of Western Sydney
The University of Western Sydney has six campuses located in Greater Western Sydney. At UWS, we aim to give you the edge in your chosen career. This comes in the form of special programs linking you to industry and employers, as well as international study opportunities. Working with industry partners UWS has designed programs to incorporate the best of today’s practice. The University provides a wide range of facilities and support services for students on all campuses. Some include: accommodation, clinics in naturopathy, traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, and remedial and relaxation massage, counselling services, IT services, services for international students and a student learning unit.
RMIT University
RMIT is a global university of technology with its heart in the city of Melbourne. With focus on creating knowledge to meet the needs of industry and community, RMIT is one of Australia’s original and leading educational institutions, producing some of Australia’s most employable graduates. With more than 60,000 students studying at RMIT campuses in Melbourne and regional Victoria, in Vietnam, online, by distance education, and at partner institutions throughout the world.
Monash University
Monash University was established in 1958 and its eight campuses, educating over 58,000 students, seeks to improve the human condition by advancing knowledge and fostering creativity. It does so through research and education and a commitment to social justice, human rights and a sustainable environment. Curtin University
Curtin University is designed to reinforce our values: Excellence; Diversity; Innovation and creativity; International focus; Fairness; Integrity; Engagement; and Self-reliance. It was established in 1966 and now has a total of seven Western Australian campuses and over 40,000 students. More than 60 clubs are registered with the Guild at Curtin and include academic, international, issue-based, social, special interest, sports and religious clubs.
UQ
The University of Queensland was founded in 1909, which made it the first University in the state and the fifth in the nation. It currently educates 37,952 from more than 113 countries and strives to create a community dedicated to achieving national and international levels of excellence in teaching, research and scholarship, one that makes significant contributions to the intellectual, cultural, social and economic life of Queensland, Australian and international communities.
QUT
Queensland University of Technology offers a broader range of undergraduate degrees than most other universities, with the flexibility to choose a combination of study areas as well as participate in exchange programs with overseas universities. Known as 'a university for the real world', QUT has four campuses and is a leading Australian university with a colourful history dating back to the beginning of technical and teacher education in Queensland when it was established in 1849.
La Trobe University
With learning, teaching and research designed to enrich the world and a history of academic innovation, La Trobe is leading the way in higher education. Established in 1967, the original La Trobe University was the third University to open in Victoria. There is now a total of seven campuses with over 22,000 students. La Trobe strives to achieve wide recognition for delivering socially responsible, inclusive, relevant and radical learning, teaching and research.
Ballarat University
The University of Ballarat is Australia's only regional, multi-sector University. Comprising of six campuses and over 25,000 students, the University offers a strong tradition of 137 years of tertiary education. It provides educational and training programs from apprenticeships, certificates and diplomas to undergraduate degrees and post-graduate qualifications. International students at the University of Ballarat come from over 30 different countries to participate in a diverse range of TAFE and higher education programs.
CQU

The institution opened in 1967 and has changed significantly since that time – building its research and postgraduate programs, expanding its international profile, and growing as a multi-campus institution – but it has retained its foundation values of putting the student first. USQ was awarded the Commonwealth of Learning Award of Excellence for Institutional Achievement in 2004. TECHNICAL INSTITUTES
NMIT
Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE is a large government funded institution providing a broad range of accredited vocational education and training at six campuses in the central and northern metropolitan regions of Melbourne. NMIT has excellent resources which include some of the latest technological developments. Included in these resources are two industrial robots, fully equipped laboratories and workshops, audio visual equipment and studio, language laboratory, mainframe and personal computer rooms.
Holmesglen
Holmesglen Institute of TAFE is a modern, dynamic tertiary institution with an established international focus. Located across three campuses in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Holmesglen has over 50,000 students enrolled in over 600 different courses. The Institute has a reputation for being innovative and dynamic and maintains the highest standards of instruction and provides a complete student support system, using the latest developments in instructional technology and pastoral care.
GCIT
With five centrally located campuses and a selection of online learning options Gold Coast Institute of TAFE is the largest vocational education provider on the Gold Coast and was awarded Queensland's 2007 Public Training Provider of the Year. Southbank Institute of Technology is the leading, and largest, TAFE institute in Queensland with over 30 000 enrolled students. The three campuses are close to everything - cultural and entertainment facilities, sporting venues, city centre and public transport. SBIT offers a wide range of programs that have been designed to meet students needs and goals. BNT
Brisbane North Institute of TAFE aims to provide quality education and leadership for the benefit of our students and the wider community and is focused on increasing student's job opportunities and equipping them with the skills and expertise for a rewarding career. BNT is a government owned vocational training institute with five campuses in key locations across Brisbane, Queensland.
Kangan Batman
Kangan Batman TAFE is a flexible, innovative and friendly place of learning, with a dynamic multicultural atmosphere and is Victoria's major training provider for the automotive, aerospace, polymer and transport industries and is the state's largest provider of traineeship and apprenticeship training. TAFE NSW is the largest education and training provider in the southern hemisphere.
